I love making people happy. I've found I can best do this through sharing my passion for music. I love directing choirs and coaching people individually or in groups.
My other passions are my spending time with my family, walking in the Yorkshire dales and writing. My first novel 'An urn for the worse' has been very well reviewed - you can buy a copy here. Please do!

I believe everyone deserves a chance to express themselves in song, free from worry. My own musical journey began with a simple love for singing, which eventually led me to a career dedicated to helping others find that same thrill.
As a vocal coach and the musical director of four diverse choirs, I’ve seen firsthand how singing can transform confidence and build vibrant communities, and how it makes me feel great too. I always leave a session feeling happier than when I started.
My approach is intentionally relaxed and fun. I’m not here to put you on the spot or demand perfection; I’m here to help you enjoy the process of singing. Whether you're a seasoned soloist or someone who only sings in the shower, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, encouraged, and entirely free of pressure.
My Teaching Philosophy
At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to Confidence, Enjoyment, and Community. I focus on technique that feels natural and sustainable, ensuring you sing your best while feeling great. I truly believe that singing is one of the best things you can do for your well-being, and I’m honored to be part of that discovery for so many people.
